Om een beetje in het thema van de afgelopen twee afleveringen te blijven, nogmaals een vertelling van economische ellende.
Ditmaal uitgevoerd door Woody Guthrie, die de onderstaande twee nummers (The Ballad of Tom Joad pts. 1 & 2) schreef direct na het zien van de verfilming (1940) van John Steinbecks The Grapes of Wrath (1939) over de gecombineerde gevolgen van de Grote Depressie en de zogenaamde Dust Bowl.
