Kindvriendelijk surfen?

Er schijnt een kindvriendelijke domeinextensie aan te komen, en er zijn wat regeltjes voor opgesteld: Geen geweld, geen tabak, drugs, sex of drank.
Een nobel streven, ware het niet dat dat a: niet te controleren is, b: dat alles via kabeltv vrijelijk de huiskamer binnenkomt, en c: zinnige info als sexuele-, drugsvoorlichting en andere nuttige sites vermoedelijk ook geblokt zullen worden, zoals nu al met veel sites het geval is in bijvoorbeeld openbare bibliotheken:

“Edelman’s 37-page expert report concluded that “blocking programs prevent access to a substantial number of sites that do not contain content that fits within the blocking company’s stated category definitions. Such overblocking may result from a number of factors discussed below, among them various types of error by blocking company employees as well as shortcomings in the design of blocking programs.”
