Balkenende is geen World Figure. That’s why.

“I hate to break it to you, but the world doesn’t flip over this country, my friends. The latest proof is an exhaustive 20-nation survey of some 16,000 people put out by the Pew Research Center (search) that confirms what I’ve long suspected: We aren’t liked.
It goes from contempt in Jordan, where only one percent of those surveyed expressed a favorable opinion of the United States, to mild hatred in Indonesia and Turkey — where 15 percent felt the same way — to general distrust in Germany and France.
Big surprise. But here’s the kicker: In Indonesia, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority, more people had confidence in Usama bin Laden to “do the right thing in world affairs.”
You’ve got to be kidding me!
Majorities in NATO countries want less dependence on the U.S.
They don’t like us. Call it the war. Call it Bush’s cowboy style. Call it whatever you want, they want to see and hear less of us.
I say, have it your way. You don’t like us, you won’t have to put up with us.
Indonesia, you have no problem with Usama bin Laden? Then give him a call after the next terrorist attack in your country, courtesy of Usama bin Laden.
Germany, you don’t flip over our troops in your country? Then you protect your own damn country.
France, you think we’re too heavy-handed? Well, don’t look to us the next time you need a hand.
NATO friends don’t like our NATO influence? Then try doing without our NATO money.
Arab friends don’t think much of our going after a despot threatening the world? Let’s see what you do the next time a despot threatens you.
You say we’re too focused on terror? Well, see what you would do if terrorists were focused on flying planes into your buildings and killing your people and scaring your kids.
You have problems with our country, but you seem to have no problem with our money.
I’m not saying you have to like us. But consider very seriously what some of your own ungrateful lives would be like, without us”
Serves them right, yeah !
Alternatieve poll:
Confidence in World Figures to Do the Left Thing:
3. British lanes
2. Agnes Lace
1. Me in my alzheimer fase….
:))
(Michael Jackson ‘scared’ hun kids trouwens)
