De regerende Thai Rak Thai Party in Thailand heeft plannen om haar parlementsleden te screenen op monogamie. Een parlementslid dat regelmatig een van de velen ‘relax-gelegenheden’ in Bangkok bezoekt zou namelijk niet representatief zijn. Naar schatting zullen er maar 30 van 200 parlementariërs overblijven als deze regel wordt toegepast.

Voor wie het afgelopen zaterdag gemist heeft: Andries Knevel van de EO werd genomineerd voor de “Gouden Knuppel” in het programma Kopspijkers. In zijn wekelijkse praatprogramma had Knevel moeite met het vinden van de juiste benaming van een stel jeugdige Afro-Europeanen.

Zendeling Knevel keek over z’n schouder en zag daar een stel pikzwarte lieden op zijn studio-stoelen hangen. Vertwijfeld sprak hij : “tsja wat zijn het… ehh.. mensen?”

1. Congo boat tragedy ‘kills 200’ at Lake Mayi Ndombe (BBCNews).
This lake was formerly known as Lake Leopold II.

2. Leopold II King of Belgium (Wikipedia.org) was most famous for having his own colony, the Congo Free State, which he virtually made his private property in 1884. One daughter of Leopold II was Stéphanie Clotilde Louise Herminie Marie Charlotte she died at the Abbey of Pannonhalma in Györszentmarton, Hungary.

3. The abbey is located 18km southeast of Gyrrszentmárton or shorter: Gyor, in Western Transdanubia. The Archabbey of Pannonhalma is already more than 1000 years old. The first Benedictine monks settled here in 996.

Drugs Experiment
Ashkan voerde diverse drugs aan verschillende proefpersonen, die de drug overigens nog nooit eerder hadden gebruikt en fotografeerde ze.
