Dat valt me dan wel weer mee van de heer Zondag maar verder zeg ik toch vooral ‘nee, bedankt’.

@voorbijganger: het grote verschil is alleen dat de SGP het uit een religieus oogpunt wil. Wat Steyn schrijft is alleen ongewild de popmuziek opgedrongen krijgen in publieke ruimtes (in bovenstaande quote, heb niet de gehele tekst doorgelezen), iets waar ik het op zich ook wel mee eens ben.

hmmm Bach is nou weer een slecht voorbeeld. Als ik één componist zou moeten kiezen waarmee ik de rest van mijn leven mee zou moeten slijten…
Ik zag het stukje in de Pers. Kon en kan eigenlijk niet anders doen dan heel hard lachen. “Popmuziek verbieden”. Moeha.

Hoewel ze dit niet beargumenteren uit wat je een traditioneel religieus oogpunt zou noemen, zijn Steyn en Bloom van mening dat popmuziek slecht is voor de ziel…

Laat nou net die goddeloze muziek mij gered hebben in mijn jeugd. Prachtig kanaal om (geweldloos) frustraties te lozen en razende tienerhormonen tot bedaren te brengen :-)
