Na het mislukken van het experiment werd de verantwoordelijke wetenschapper afgevoerd naar het werkkamp om aldaar roemloos te eindigen in de Goelag.

Stembuigingen zeggen wel veel. Daar geloof ik Sergio Beria dan wel: Stalin vraagt hem tijdens Jalta naar Roosevelts manier van spreken, ook door het voor te doen. Wat zit er in de stem. Ook weer: ken uzelf, ken Roosevelt, gebruik rethorica.
